Take control of your life and emotions by deciding at the start of your day-everyday-that no matter who offends you, angers you, frustrates you, upsets you, excludes you, overlooks you or tries you…that you will not give them your joy. Nor will you carry their garbage and negative attitudes. Employ patience and a calm nature.
Give them understanding, give them love, give them space and time but do not give your joy.
There are enough big issues in life to deal with-make sure you’re not giving away your peace and happiness over something small.
